Обґрунтовано актуальність проблематики етнопсихології в урбаністиці, просторовому плануванні та містобудівному проєктуванні, уточнено категоріально-понятійний апарат, мету, завдання й методи дослідження, висвітлено стан її вивченості. Розкрито наукові передумови етнопсихології, обґрунтовано модель етнопсихології в структурі урбаністичних завдань (онтологічна модель взаємозв’язків етнопсихології з простором життєдіяльності). Здійснена характеристика етнорегіонів України, їх розміщення, просторові ознаки та особливості. Проаналізовано трансформації і зміни етнопсихологічних характеристик та їх прояв у середовищі життєдіяльності пострадянського періоду України. Обґрунтовано методологічні зміни в регіональну політику держави, оновлення містобудівних документів відбудови й визначення просторового майбутнього України та її міст на наукових положеннях етнопсихології.
